People Can Live in Shoes

There was an old woman who lived in a shoe


She had so many children, she didn't know what to do!
So she gave them some broth without any bread
and whooped them all soundly,
and put them to bed.
(She was a mean old woman
and out of her head)

So....
There was a nice woman
who lived in a shoe
she was a sweet mommy
who knew what to do
She raised both her children
with patience and love
never once did she
give them a smack or a shove
I know you will think
that it's shocking news,
but lots of real people
do live in shoes!

Some shoes are red


and some shoes don't even have a bed!
